Baked Brie with Garlic and Honey – I can’t think of a better way to chow down! Check out this recipe so you can whip up this delicious appetizer for yourself, family or friends!
I hate to admit this but I am a huge cheese nerd – any and all, I love to eat, and make. Making cheese, in most cases, is a time consuming venture.
Whether it be halloumi or mozzarella, you need time more than anything. Thankfully, to enjoy your favorite cheese, you don’t always need loads of time. This Baked Brie with Honey and Garlic is SUPER easy to throw together …
Brie can be picked up in any major grocery store – combine it with honey, garlic, and a little olive oil and you have an easy appetizer that you can throw together in a hurry to feed hungry guests.
Baked Brie with Garlic and Honey
This baked brie begins with an 8 oz round of brie, available in any major grocery store. Simply unwrap the brie, and place on a baking sheet lined with a baking mat or parchment paper.
Using a small knife, make small slits on the top of the Brie. Insert the garlic slices into the slits, distributing them evenly across the cheese.
Drizzle the honey over the top of the Brie, allowing it to seep into the slits and around the cheese. Drizzle the olive oil over the Brie as well, to enhance the flavors and help with the baking process. If desired, place a few fresh rosemary sprigs on top of the Brie to add an aromatic touch.
Transfer the baking sheet or Brie baker to the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and gooey in the center. Keep an eye on the Brie as it bakes to ensure it doesn’t melt completely and lose its shape.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool briefly before transferring to a serving plate. You can serve this baked brie with a baguette or toasted sourdough.
