DIY Hair Bow Wreath

DIY

This DIY Hair Bow Wreath is the perfect solution to help organize a TON of hair bows! It takes a few dollars and less than 5 minutes to put together.

Hair bows are literally everywhere in our house – in the bottom of my purse, laying in the bedrooms, scattered in the bathroom drawer, and sometimes used to clip the sheets for a DIY “fort”.

At one point I counted over 38 bows – crazy, but not unusual, after all, I do have 3 girls that wear bows every single day! We have them in all the shapes and colors imaginable and there is always that one perfect bow to go with every outfit.  I have a really good friend that bought my girls a variety of bows that they love to wear and try to match with their outfits, and I have bows from my own childhood that my dad kept for me and that my girls wear now, 30 years later.

(I know.. I’m giving away my age!)

This DIY Hair Bow Wreath is the perfect solution to help organize a TON of hair bows! It takes a few dollars and less than 5 minutes to put together.

This is such an easy way to store your bows and display them beautifully – very inexpensive and takes just a few minutes to create!

Simply clip the bows on a wire wreath form – you can find one at Hobby Lobby (Use a coupon to save even more) or buy one on Amazon for just over $2 as an add-on item.  We picked up an 18″ wire wreath on Amazon for just under $3 – you can find smaller wreaths too, but I would suggest a larger one (18″ is a great size!) because you’ll be surprised how quickly the bows fill up the wreath.

The wreath can change my colors or by season, depending on your bows. Visit your dollar store to get an over the door wreath hanger so you can hang on the outside of their bedroom door or hang in their room directly as wall decor.

If you don’t have bows for your daughter, Amazon has a pack of 20 bows for $10 or sometimes less – they ship free with Amazon Prime.

Remove the bow you wish to wear for the day, and put it back at day end – it’s a super cute way to display your daughter’s bows, and it would make a wonderful baby shower gift for someone who is having a little girl!
