This Slow Cooker Bread comes together easily with just two simple ingredients – the perfect, easy recipe to a bread that’s super delicious!
Everyone LOVES a good loaf of bread – right? At least I do. And I can’t think of anything better than a loaf of bread that cooks up in the slow cooker with just two (2!!!) simple ingredients:
- Greek yogurt
- Self Rising Flour
Combine those two ingredients with just under 3 hours and you’ll have a beautiful loaf of bread that you can smother in butter or your favorite jam recipe.
Slow Cooker Bread (2 ingredient)
This bread couldn’t be easier – simply mix up your ingredients in a mixer or with a fork for 2 minutes. Then finish working with your hands, before turning out onto a floured surface. Knead for 1 minute and set aside.
Light flour a non-stick loaf pan, or use a light amount of non-stick spray. Form an oblong dough ball, and place into the loaf pan. Turn your slow cooker on high, place the loaf pan in your slow cooker, cover the slow cooker with a clean towel, and place lid on top of the cooker to secure the towel in place.
Cook the bread for approximately 2 hours and 15 -20 minutes. To brown the top, preheat oven to 450 degrees, and place in oven. Allow just enough time to brown the top portion of the bread. This should only take a couple of minutes.
Allow the bread to cool for 10-15 minutes before removing from loaf pan.
Don’t have self rising flour?
If you don’t have self rising flour, you can mix together: all purpose flour (1 cup), baking powder (1 1/2 teaspoons), and salt (1/2 teaspoon).

Notes
Substitutions:
- If you don’t have self rising flour, you can mix together: all purpose flour (1 cup), baking powder (1 1/2 teaspoons), and salt (1/2 teaspoon).
- You can use non-fat Greek yogurt, it will not affect the outcome.
