Sweet Almond & Lavender Hand Cream

Essential Oils

This Sweet Almond Lavender Hand Cream is an incredible moisturizer for dry hands.

If you have dry hands in the colder, winter months, you’ll love this easy DIY to put together your own Sweet Almond Lavender Hand Cream.

Let me say that my hands get pretty rough in the winter… Arizona doesn’t get too cold but when we head up to Flagstaff, those temps make my knuckles crack and bleed. Combined with washing dishes almost all day long, it’s basically impossible “not” to have dry hands.

This Sweet Almond & Lavender Hand Cream is amazing for the skin – put it on at night before you head to bed and you will see a noticeable difference in your hands in the morning. Lavender is a wonderful oil to support healthy skin, too!

This Sweet Almond Lavender Hand Cream is an incredible moisturizer for dry hands.

Sweet Almond & Lavender Hand Cream is packed with nourishing all natural oils that are great for your skin.  It’s incredibly easy to make – and would be a great gift for a friend, family member or even a teacher!

Sweet Almond & Lavender Hand Cream

Makes one 4 oz. jar.

  • 3 Tbsp Beeswax Pellets
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1/3 C. Sweet Almond Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Jojoba Oil
  • 20 drops Lavender Essential Oil
  • 4 oz jar (Jelly jars work amazing)

To make: Place the beeswax and coconut oil in a glass jar in the microwave and microwave for 15-20 second increments until the mixture has melted thoroughly.

Remove from the microwave and stir in the almond oil and jojoba oil until blended.   Add the Lavender Essential Oil. Quickly pour into a 4 oz jar. It will harden as it cools.

Why use Coconut Oil?

Coconut Oil gives your skin a really wonderful even tone – it also reduces the size of pores, supports a healthy immune system and protects your skin all year long.

The Essential Oils you use are also very important ~ see what we recommend by heading here.

Oh,, my goodness. This band cream is awesome! My hands feel absolutely great. I substituted the Lavender to Gardenia. Smells heavenly. This is the best hand cream I ever made. Thanks!
