Spicy avocado habanero cream sauce that’s easy to make & the perfect addition to your party table – perfect on chips, tacos, burritos and much more!
Our hot Phoenix summer always has folks grilling steaks and hamburgers here in Phoenix, but every so often it’s time to break out the tacos.
A really good taco is deserving of a deliciously spicy yet creamy sauce, something that elevates the flavor and creates a taste explosion. This avocado habanero sauce does the trick. It’s thick enough to dip on chips. But it’s also perfect to dollop on your tacos, burritos or even smother on your freshly grilled hamburger.
This spicy yet creamy avocado habanero sauce is loaded. Think avocados, habanero peppers, and red wine vinegar. There is a lot of acid in the recipe, which allows it to retain its color for several days after its made (if it lasts that long!)
Spicy Avocado Habanero Sauce
This sauce is so easy to throw together. Just a quick whizz of the blender and a dash of your favorite seasonings to taste and it’s done.
Adjust the lime juice and red wine vinegar as needed. Add more for a thinner sauce to drizzle on your tacos. Or use the amount stated to keep the sauce thick enough to dip your chips or spoon on your hamburgers.
For a spicier cream sauce, feel free to up the peppers. Try maybe 3 or 4 (if you can handle it!) Thanks to the acid in the lime juice and red wine vinegar, this sauce will keep its color at least a day or two (if not more).
This sauce kept the color for close to five days as I enjoyed it on hamburgers fresh off the grill for the kids and I.
