Mulled Cider & Oatmeal Body Scrub

Essential Oils

Mulled Cider & Oatmeal Body Scrub

We know that sugar is not too good for your body, but sugar CAN be very good for your skin.

Most of the expensive scrubs you pick up in supermarkets or department stores can run you just pennies if you make them at home. They are so terribly easy to make and serve as great gifts.

Beauty scrubs can be used on your feet, body, and hands for soft, smooth skin. You can add any combination of essential oils to customize your scrubs.

Cinnamon Orange Sugar Scrub

  • 1/2 C. Granulated Sugar (preferably organic)
  • 1/2 C. Brown Sugar (preferably organic)
  • 1/4 C. Oatmeal (blended to a powder)
  • 1/2 C. Coconut Oil
  • 20 drops Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil
  • 15 drops Orange Essential Oil

Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight jar. Use 1-2 Tablespoon as needed in the shower or bath.

Why Cinnamon and Orange?

  • Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil:  Great for Circulation, with a strong, invigorating scent.
  • Orange: A happy oil that provides a supportive, uplifting mentality.

Body scrubs last for a few months on the counter – and although in most cases they are safe to eat, I would still avoid putting all that sugar in your mouth because too much sugar isn’t too good for you 🙂
