Homemade Perineal Spray for Women who Give Birth

Essential Oils

Perineal-Support-Spray

Are you expecting? If you are, then bookmark this post – it might just help you pack your hospital bag!

If you love using Essential Oils to support your health and wellness, here’s a really easy and helpful Peri Support Spray you can make to support your Perineal area following labor & delivery.

Oils we Used:

  • Helichrysum
  • Lavender
  • Geranium

Each of these oils above are great to support the skin – especially after pregnancy. Helichrysum can be used alone with fractionated coconut oil and applied directly to the Perineal area for support after birth.

Have Frankincense? You could also use that too if you wish!

You’ll need:

  • 2 oz Amber or Blue Glass Spray Bottle
  • 10 drops Geranium
  • 10 drops Lavender
  • 10 drops Helichrysum
  • Top with distilled water

Instructions: Spray each time you need support in that area or after each time you use the bathroom following labor & delivery.

Remember to pack one in your hospital bag and place a few extra in bathrooms around your home.

Are Essential Oils Safe for Pregnancy?

When it comes to using Essential Oils during your pregnancy, the choice is yours.  They are safe, as long as you make responsible decisions and use your oils properly too.

Essential Oils are powerful. They are a LOT of potency packed into a little bottle – and it’s amazing how something so small can literally do so much.

They are a true, natural solution that is whole and pure – not synthetic and toxic.

When selecting a company for Essential Oils, we went with Young Living. Their Seed to Seal Commitment was their promise of authenticity and purity.

That commitment is why we feel comfortable in recommending them. Combined with their passion for educating their members, they truly are a company that goes far beyond others.
