“Faith as Small as a Mustard Seed Can Move Mountains” scripture favor and free printable is perfect for churches, VBS, Sunday school or as a Soul Winning favors to help spread the Gospel message of Christ.
We’re just a few weeks from Christmas, and the majority of Americans are likely shopping, decorating and… trying to stay warm!
I’m always looking for new ideas to incorporate in my life – whether that be here on my site, or in my own Etsy shop. I started making these little favors a few weeks ago and tucking them into my orders that I ship out.
But they’d also be perfect for a church function (take for example a prayer day) or for kids to hand out in the local neighborhood or on walks.
Faith as Small as a Mustard Seed Can Move Mountains
These are small favors, approximately 2×2 in size. To whip these up yourself, follow my simple DIY:
You’ll need:
- 2×2 ziplock bags (find here on Amazon)
- 8.5 x 11 printout of the Faith as Small as a Mustard Seed PDF
- Paper Cutter (I got mine on Amazon)
- Stapler
- Mustard Seeds (can find smaller containers here or find here in a larger bag on Amazon)
The front of the favor reads:
Biblical faith has nothing to do with personal self-effort (Ephesians 2:8-9) and has no reliance on human strength and wisdom (1 Cor. 2:5). In other words, when we talk about Biblical faith, all the strength and power come from the object of faith (God himself), not the “size” of faith. Even a“mustard seed” faith will do.
And the other side of the favor reads:

Add a few mustard seeds to the ziplock bag.
With the paper cutter, trim the PDF down into smaller strips just slightly over 2×2 in size. Fold the strips at the top.
Place the paper over the ziplock and with a single staple, staple towards the bottom just above the Bible scripture verse.
Repeat until you have your desired favors accomplished.
