With the onset of summer and hot, pool weather, chances are.. you or your kids are going to be dealing with the issue of keeping your feet healthy over this next few months.
Even more… once the fall hits, then football season starts, and athletes are shoving their feet into stinky workout shoes, perhaps without giving the feet ample time to breathe.
Combined with locker rooms or public showers, you will need to have some oils handy to support healthy feet.
The following oils work super to support healthy feet – use one, or a combination of several – apply to your feet when mixed with a carrier oil like Young Living V6 Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil or even Almond Oil.
- Myrrh Essential Oil
- Peppermint Essential Oil
- Geranium Essential Oil
- Lavender Essential Oil
- Tea Tree Essential Oil
To use, make sure you wash your feet off well with a mild soap – dry thoroughly, especially in between the toes.
Then combine equal parts of Tea Tree, Lavender & Peppermint Oils and put on the affected area 3-4 times a day. Combine with a carrier oil if desired and massage into the feet.
Make sure you cover your feet with socks to allow the application to soak in – and within 5-7 days your feet should feel better and you will experience a greater level of comfort.
Do you use Essential Oils? We do and have for 3 years – we feel comfortable with Young Living and would not recommend anything else. Read more about WHY we chose Young Living on our last post.
