Who says Pumpkin is just for pumpkin pie? This pumpkin spice face mask is amazing for the skin and a great way to use up leftover canned pumpkin when you made pumpkin bread or, pumpkin cornbread muffins.
Believe it or not, pumpkin is packed with vitamins and minerals – vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin E and beta-carotene. Not only does it smell incredible, if you use it regularly, it promotes healthy skin and hair.
This pumpkin spice mask is easy to put together with just a few simple ingredients – oats, pumpkin, cinnamon and a little honey. A coffee grinder helps to grind the oats into a powder – but if you don’t have a coffee grinder, feel free to use your blender.
(I have this blender – it’s inexpensive and does amazing!)
Mix all ingredients, and apply to your skin – the mask makes enough for up to 2 uses, so ask your teenage daughter if she wants to use it with you or, seal in a container and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
