Pumpkin Spice Body Scrub

Essential Oils

This Pumpkin Spice Scrub is SUPER easy to make, with ingredients you'll find in your pantry!

You are probably wondering why in the world would anyone put Pumpkin on your skin – after all… it’s probably better used in a pie – right?

Pumpkin smells amazing and is packed with vitamins and minerals  — vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin E and beta-carotene.  If used regularly, it promotes healthy skin and hair.

Sugar helps the skin retain moisture but also helps it exfoliate, and coconut oil has so many amazing benefits for the skin. Cinnamon helps support healthy circulation and bring blood to the surface of the skin which in turn supports a healthy, youthful glow.

The best part about this body scrub is that you can whip it together with ingredients from your pantry.

Pumpkin Spice Scrub

  • 1/2 C. Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 C. Brown Sugar, preferably organic
  • 1/4 C. White Sugar, preferably organic
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • Half Pint Canning Jars (we love these)
  • 8 drops Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil

To make:  Ensure the coconut oil is at room temperature, and mix all ingredients. Add the Pumpkin Puree and mix in until there are no visible clumps.

Ensure you refrigerate if you are gifting or not using right away.  Apply as needed to hands and feet when a little extra moisturization is needed. I made mine and kept it in the shower – I used it over a period of two days on my feet.
