DIY Hand Sanitizer
A simple homemade DIY hand sanitizer for the whole family. This hand sanitizer is easy to make and carry with you wherever you go.
Servings 8 oz
Ingredients
- 2/3 C Isopropyl Alcohol 70-91% or, 190 proof alcohol, avoid methanol or butanol
- 1/3 C aloe vera gel prevents hands from drying out from the alcohol
- 6 drops vitamin E oil adds moisturizing properties
- essential oil optional - tea tree or lavender, a few drops
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Divide between several small bottles or tubes.
Notes
The CDC recommends hand sanitizer that is at least 60% alcohol. So if you don't have essential oils, don't worry! The main and most crucial ingredient is the alcohol.
