Ingredients

  • 1 C fresh mint
  • 1.25 C vodka

Instructions

  • Wash mint and pat dry so there is no water on it.
  • Slightly break/crush/chop mint leaves and add them to a jar. Pour vodka over the mint and place lid on jar. It is important that the leaves stay submerged.
  • Place in a dark area and shake it every few days over the next four weeks.
  • After four weeks strain the leaves off and pour the liquid into small bottles.

Notes

  • You can add the leaves to small bottles like pictured however they are harder to get the leaves out when it comes time to strain it.
  • If you want your extract even stronger, you can change out the mint each week and keep using the same vodka.
