Peanut Butter Banana Bars

Deliciously rich and sweet peanut butter banana bars combine the yummy flavors of banana chips with peanut butter in easy to make bars!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 C all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3/4 C peanut butter chips
  • 1/3 C banana chips crushed
  • 1 C granulated sugar
  • 1/2 C butter unsalted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease an 8-inch baking dish with a coat of butter and dust with flour or spray with non-stick spray. Set aside.
  • Combine flour, baking soda, salt, peanut butter chips and crushed banana chips in a mixing bowl. Mix well to evenly distribute the ingredients. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together sugar, butter and vanilla with an electric mixer on high speed. Add eggs. Beat mixture on high until it is fluffy and thoroughly combined.
  • Slowly add the dry flour mixture to the sugar/butter mixture. Stir quite well to thoroughly combine all ingredients. Spoon all of the mixture into the baking dish.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely. Cut into bars and enjoy.
