Apple Brandy Recipe - How to Make
Making your own Apple Brandy couldn't be easier! Follow this simple tutorial to make your own apple brandy at home with just a few simple ingredients.
Servings 2 quarts
- 4 C sugar
- 2 C water
- 4 lbs apples sliced
- 1 liter brandy
- 3 cloves whole
- 2 cinnamon sticks
Combine sugar and water in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
Place sliced apples in a large glass or plastic jar. Add the sugar mix, cloves, cinnamon stick and brandy. Place the lid on the jar and let sit for a minimum of two weeks (stirring once a week).
Strain brandy. Discard apples and spices. Pour into glass bottles. Place a cinnamon stick and several cloves into each bottle.
