Sweet Candied Pecans
Sweet and savory Candied Pecans made in 20 minutes with just a few simple ingredients - the finished pecans make a yummy holiday gift!
Servings 8 people
- 1 egg white
- 1/3 C granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 16 oz pecan halves
Beat the egg white, either by hand or with a hand mixer, until the egg white is broken up and bubbles are showing.
Stir in the sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract.
Gently fold in the pecan halves, taking care to cover them as thoroughly as possible.
Spread on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 300 degrees F for 20 minutes. Allow to cool before storing in jars or sealing in FoodSaver bags for even longer storage.
