Ingredients
3.2ozsweet almond oil
2.4 ozwhite beeswax
2.4 ozmango butter
Optional:
Geranium essential oil
Instructions
In a heat safe measuring cup, add your beeswax and sweet almond oil and melt in the microwave using 30 second bursts.
Add the mango butter to the hot mixture and give it time to melt. If it doesn't melt, place in the microwave for 10-12 second bursts.
Add your Geranium essential oil and stir in thoroughly.
Place a small pinch of rose petals in each silicone heart cavity. Use a spoon to help cover some of the petals with the oil mixture (which helps the petals stay in place). Let cool briefly, then pour the remaining oil mixture into each cavity.
Allow the lotion bars to cool for 1-2 hours until hardened. If desired, place in the freezer to harden quickly (can sometimes prevent crystallization).
Remove from the mold and enjoy.
Notes
Gift in a tin or covered container. Keep away from extreme temperature changes - remember that they can get soft when kept in extreme heat.
